Computational Intelligence Laboratory (CI)

CIL is the laboratory that aims to develop the intelligence system that has the same thinking and learning process as human beings and has the ability to learn by itself, from its experience and from related information in the past. The lab also aims to develop computational intelligence algorithms that can help support the decision making of human beings or even replace human works.
Lab member: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Arit Thammano

Data Mining and Data Exploration Laboratory (DME)

The purposes of DME laboratory are researching, developing, implementing, knowledge publishing, human resource development and social service in data mining field. This includes investigation and data exploration for analyzing and making decision. Data mining technology can be used to solve problems in both government and business organizations such as use of data mining tools to find customer behavior patterns to improve products and business services.

Intelligence Lab for Cognitive and Business Analytics

IcBiz Lab focuses on the analysis of structured and unstructured data, enabling computers to learn and gain insight hidden inside the data in several formats, such as natural language, actions, perceptions and human behaviors. Research and expertise of the IcBiz lab encompass multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary knowledge (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Linguistics, and Cognitive Psychology) in explaining, reasoning and summarizing the data as knowledge for the wisdom of decision making. IcBiz Lab intends to apply such expertise to practical usage in various business sectors, such as finance, retail, marketing planning, medicine, agriculture, education, etc.
