BIG DATA INSTITUTE teams up with School of Information Technology Lat Krabang to develop BIG DATA and AI skills for the general public, Batch 1
From May 26–28, 2026, the School of Information Technology KMITL organized a workshop project on developing skills in the application of big data and artificial intelligence technology for the general public, Batch 1, under the topic “Applied Big Data and AI Technologies for General Users” at Laboratory Room 207, School of Information Technology KMITL, with support from the Big Data Institute (Public Organization).
On this occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Praphan Pawarangkul and Assistant Professor Dr. Pornsuree Jamsri, faculty members of the School of Information Technology KMITL, served as lecturers, sharing knowledge along with practical activities focused on applying Big Data and AI technologies in both work and daily life.
The project aims to promote knowledge, understanding, and practical skill development in the use of big data and artificial intelligence technology to the general public, enabling them to appropriately and effectively apply digital technologies in a manner consistent with AI ethics.
Currently, big data technology and artificial intelligence (Artificial Intelligence: AI), especially Generative AI, play crucial roles in driving government, private sectors, and everyday life extensively. Having skills in data analysis and proper AI usage is therefore an important factor in enhancing work efficiency, decision-making, and innovation creation in the digital era.
The School of Information Technology KMITL hopes that participants can apply the knowledge gained to further their work and personal development, while being mindful of safe, responsible, and ethical AI usage.
